Sad News About The Cruise…

Unfortunately this economy has affected many of our classmates that were hoping to go on the cruise. Even though there are a great bunch of folks that are still signed up, we don’t have anywhere near the numbers that we were hoping for.  Any time spent away on a cruise is well worth the time but we wanted to be sure that everyone knew beforehand that there won’t be as many as expected.

If you attended any of the High Schools in the Daytona Beach area
during the last half of the 1970’s you are not going to want to miss
this very special event!

How Did This All Come About?
When Spruce Creek High School was opened, all of us from the Class of 1977 came from one of the only four High Schools that were in Daytona at that time, Mainland, Seabreeze, Father Lopez, or Warner Christian.  Even though we made many new friends at “The Creek” we also left many of our old friends at the other schools that we had grown up with and had been with for years.  We also thought about those that were Seniors when we first arrived in High School (the Class of 1975) and all of those that we enjoyed during those High School years all the way through to those that were Sophomores (the Class of 1979) when we graduated.  So with that in mind we are wanting to help gather everyone together who grew up in Daytona at a very special time to come together again and enjoy all those old memories, reconnect with old friends, and maybe create a few new ones that we can talk about for years to come.
