I can’t believe it’s been almost 30 years since we graduated!  In my mind, it seems like it was just yesterday that we were in cap and gown at the Jai Alai.  But then I walk by a mirror and wonder when in the world did my Dad move in with us.

I have to say that the Good Lord has been very good to me.  Much better than I ever deserved.

I married my high school sweetheart, Ann Creesy, in 1980 and can’t believe that she is still putting up with me.  We have two boys.  Luke is 23 and currently enrolled in a graduate program at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and is working part time as a Pastor’s Intern.  He has fallen in love with Lynn Cochran, a beautiful young lady that Ann and I already think of as our very own daughter.  Andrew is 20 and currently enrolled at the University of Florida and is studying to be an Architect.

After High School I went to work as an Electrician for Bob’s Space Racers in Holly Hill.  We built amusement games and my claim to fame there was that I did a lot of the original electronics for the “Whack-A-Mole”.  We also built Water Games, Bowler Rollers, Roll-A-Ball, Shooting Galleries, and Ski-Balls.  I did a lot of traveling to install games all over the country and have many found memories.

After that I went to work as the Office Manager for my Uncle at Giles Electric Company  in South Daytona and learned what it takes to make a business run from the inside of an office.

I then went on to become a Corporate Officer at Peck & Associates Construction in Daytona Beach Shores.  This was a General Contracting firm and we did many large projects all over the state.

Since 1998 we have had our own company called TYL Construction and live in Ormond Beach.  We are a small company and build new residential and all kinds of commercial construction.  TYL stands for “Thank You Lord” and we are simply trying to remember to work according to His standards and glorify His name in all that we do.
