’77 Hawk Profile

Hello classmates and friends.

Wow, it’s been over 30 years since I received that prestigious Super Dud award for hanging mistletoe from the fire extinguisher nozzles....  and the consequent hall flood when someone jumped up to tug one down.

After I graduated high school I started college, but got involved with computer programming before I finished, and I’ve been doing that ever since.  I started a software company called Pocketware, Inc. in 1991, but then downsized back to working alone around 2000.

In ’81 one of the greatest events of my life occurred; I married Kathleen, and since then we’ve been blessed with seven children.  Two of these are now married, two in college, and 3 in high school.  So there is always something going on at our house… not a place where you are easily bored.

Kathleen is a photographer and a playwright, amongst other things, and I’m doing a bit of writing myself.  I also spend time studying certain areas of science, especially those related to renewable food/material production, like aquaponics.

Here’s a picture of us from my daughter’s wedding last year.  It’s so hard to find a picture with all of us in it these days; especially since my wife is usually behind the camera.

Left to right from bottom: Sadie, Rebecca, Elya, Jonathan, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Samuel, Kathleen and myself.

I look forward to seeing you all!
