Thirty years.................. Sometimes I wonder if this can be possible but then I look at my 24-year old son who is now an attorney and I think, "yes, it's true."  I remarried this summer in St. Thomas, USVI several weeks after our class reunion, and couldn't be happier.  My husband, Don Wolfe, is in cable television advertising and sales and has a 17 year-old son, David, a junior at Creek, and a 20 year-old daughter, Megan, a Creek graduate.  As I already mentioned, my son, Chris, is now 24 years old, a 2001 graduate of Spruce Creek High School (IB) and a 2004 and 2007 graduate of the University of Florida for both his undergrad and law degrees respectively.  He's a true Gator and is practicing insurance defense law in Tampa.

I went to DBCC, now DBC, following high school graduation and then proceeded to work in mortgage banking for a short time.  Working for my father was not planned, however I landed at Baggett and Summers, staying for 21 years

as the VP.  Watching my friends (and my parent's friends) bury not only their parents, spouse, but also at times their children was more than enough to cause burn out.  I went back to school and received my BS in Business Administration and then my MS in Management and Organization, a specialization in Leadership, and an emphasis in Ethics.  Everybody talks about "coming full circle" and I guess it's true in that I ended up back at DBCC in 2000 working as the Business Manager for their PBS TV station.  I moved into the positions of Director of Accounting, Budget Director, and now my official title is Director of Risk Management and Management Services. My responsibilities are those of an internal auditor, all finances for our international projects, academic program cost reviews, and whatever special projects come my way.  Somehow I also ended up in the classroom and love it; teaching ethics and business law as an adjunct instructor in both the School of Business and our new 4-year BAS degree program.

We stay very busy enjoying time with our kids, going on cruises and to concerts (Bon Jovi  - here we come!), and just enjoying the simple aspects of life.  Between my work at a funeral home and Don being a cancer survivor, we have a great appreciation for life itself and are grateful for the ability to simply enjoy it.
